This delicious, cool weather vegetable is one of the hardest of all root crops. Plants are frequently grown with carrots and beets. Their delicate, sweet nutty flavor compliments any meal. Plant produces excellent quality 12" long by 3" wide parsnip. Can be boiled,steamed, fried or sauteed in butter. Great for soups and stews.
